Two Stocks on Borsa Istanbul to Face Precautionary Measures Tomorrow
According to a statement made by Borsa Istanbul, two stocks will start the day under precautionary measures.
Order package measure for DIRIT shares
In line with the Capital Markets Board's decision, DIRIT shares will be traded under the supervision of the Volatility-based Precautionary System (VBTS) from the beginning of the session on November 25, 2024, until the end of the session on December 24, 2024.
Under this precautionary measure, market orders and limit orders from the market will be restricted; cancellations, reductions in order quantities, and deteriorations in order prices will be prohibited. Additionally, during this period when the publication of order collection information is restricted, previously implemented measures such as the ban on margin trading and gross settlement measures will continue.
VBTS stands out as a system aimed at protecting investors against excessive volatility in the markets. The order package measures are aimed at preventing anomalies in price movements. The restrictions implemented within this framework aim to achieve stability in the market and enhance investor confidence.
Ban on margin trading for BSOKE shares
Another decision taken within the framework of the Volatility-based Precautionary System (VBTS) will affect BSOKE shares. From November 25, 2024, BSOKE shares will not be subject to margin trading until the end of the session on December 24, 2024.
On the other hand, the measure regarding PATEK shares, which has been subject to a margin trading ban for a month, will be lifted at the end of the session on Friday, November 29.
