Anadolu Isuzu Anticipates Low Single-Digit Decline in Export Quantity, but High Single-Digit Increase in Dollar Revenue
FOREX - Anadolu Isuzu (IS:ASUZU) expects a low single-digit decrease in export volumes in 2024, while projecting a high single-digit increase in dollar-based revenue.
Anadolu Isuzu has made some adjustments to its 2024 expectations by evaluating the results of the automotive sector for the first ten months of the year.
In a statement made to KAP, the following was noted:
"Our revised expectations for 2024 are as follows: · Domestic Market: While we expect the total market size of the segments we are in to grow at medium double-digit percentages compared to 2023, we anticipate a high single-digit increase in our total domestic sales volumes for 2024. (Previous: We previously expected the total market size of the segments we are in to decrease by approximately 20-25% compared to 2023, but we anticipated a smaller decline in our total domestic sales volumes for 2024 due to the diversity of our portfolio in comparison to the market contraction.) · International Markets: Despite expecting a low single-digit decrease in export volumes, we foresee a high single-digit increase in our dollar-based revenue, thanks to our strong product portfolio. (Previous: Although regulatory changes to be implemented in Europe are expected to delay the sales projected for the second half of the year into the following months, we anticipated that the increasing diversity of products and the growth of sales outside of Europe would lead our total export sales volumes in 2024 to be in line with 2023.)"
