Headline: Minister Işıkhan Announces: Over 18,000 Students to Receive 351 Million TL in Aid

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, announced an important support package for students. In his statement, Minister Işıkhan noted that aid is provided to make students' educational experiences easier. He emphasized that this assistance is particularly intended for children of martyrs, highlighting the government's commitment to supporting these students. The minister mentioned that financial aid would continue throughout the education period, indicating that this step would serve as a source of motivation for students.

351.6 million TL aid for 18,522 students

Minister Işıkhan announced that the aid for the 2024-2025 academic year has begun to be disbursed as of today. The total value of this aid, reaching 18,522 students, amounts to 351.6 million TL. It was announced that 13 million 616 thousand TL would be allocated for primary education, 20 million 425 thousand TL for secondary education, and 27 million 233 thousand TL for higher education.

Sending his best wishes for success to students in the new academic year, Işıkhan reassured, "We are always by your side." The Ministry, aiming for students to have a more comfortable educational journey with this support, once again expressed its belief and commitment to supporting them.
